Rawhide Romal Reins - 8-plait rawhide romal reins loaded with pineapple knots and ring knots. Rein length 48" each side. Romal 47". Soft, natural kangaroo leather romal connector is 4". This is a really nice set of working rawhide reins, suitable for show. Not weighted. They have a nice drape and will break in easily and nicely.

Chestnut Kangaroo Romals w/Rawhide and Natural Interweave
12-Plait romal reins in chestnut kangaroo leather. Long knots are natural kangaroo with a rawhide interweave. Rawhide ring knots. Kangaroo leather connector on romal.
Reins are 44" each side with and 54" is you count the 10" rein chains.
Romal is 46" and the connector is 4".
Popper is made from natural saddle skirting, squared and bevelled. Popper can be rounded at the end if you prefer.
Reins have a nice draps and weight. They are not weighted. Total weight is just over one pound.

Reins are 49" each side including connectors, and romal is 46". Double sliders on reins. Reins are approximately 5/16" in diameter. Romal is 1/2" in diameter. Nice weight with some "substance". Has flex, but not flimsy. Harness leather popper.

Kangaroo Leather Romal Reins - Very nice 12-plait reins with 16-plait romal. All Kangaroo leather. Reins are deep chestnut and buttons, knots and popper are dark brown. Popper is saddle skirting leather. Reins are 108" (54" each side" and romal, including the popper, is 55". There is nothing like kangaroo leather for the buttery feel and durability. Kangaroo leather is eleven times stronger than cowhide because of the straightness of the grain.

Natural Kangaroo Leather Romal Reins - Reins are 12-plait natural kangaroo leather. Romal is 16-plait. It is loaded with pineapple and barrel knots with "W" knots sliders. The popper is topped with a "heel knot" as would be seen on a bosal. The connectors are made from kangaroo leather and fashioned in slit braids. There are 83 ring knots on the knotted sections alone. The reins each side are 48" not including the 3" connectors. The romal is also 48" not including the connector. The romal end is buried inside the popper. There is no loop to get your spur caught in. These reins have been conditioned with Pappy's Premium Conditioner and then followed up with Bee Dry. They are soft and supple and have a nice weight. There are almost 2 hides used to complete these reins which took over 50 hours to braid.
